The Third Ring Intra City Road has reached 76.87% confirms by the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation

The third ring Intra - City road project is the most important transportation road in Phnom Penh.

This project is going to be completed in early September 2023. This is according to the report from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport on August 2, 2022.

Recently, according to, the Ministry of public work and transportation announced that the third ring Intra - city road that connected National Road number 4 to National Road number 1, with a total length of nearly 53 km, has been completed 76.87%. Due to this achievement, the road has reached 72.46%, and ( flyover) working reached 69.90% and bridge working has reached 95.98%.

This ring Intra - city road starts from National Road Number 4 at the point of km 14 + 105 which location is in the village of Chompou Van, Sangkat Choam Chao 3, Khan Por Sen Chey, Phnom Penh city that connects to Tumnup Kob Srov Road, National Road number 5 across the Victory Bridge, Victory Boulevard and National Road number 6 and will become a major ring Intra- city road connecting with National Roads number 6, number 5, number 4, number 3, number 2 and National Road number 21, crossing the Bassac River and the Chinese Channel to the end of National Road. number 1 at km 24 + 840 in Sdao Kanleang village, Dei Edith commune, Kien Svay district, Kandal province (main road).

Please be reminded that the construction of the third ring Intra - city road was started to build on January 14, 2019, by Shanghai Construction Group Co., Ltd. At a cost of US $ 267.67 million, the project will be inspected by Guangzhou Wanan Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. US $ 5.38 million under concessional financing from the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Royal Government of Cambodia's contribution for demining and UXO clearance.
